Understanding Covenant Relationship with God

The Bible is a book of covenants. However, in our day, we have very little understanding of what a covenant is and the impact it has on the relationship between the people who are in covenant.

Understanding our covenant with God will stabilise your faith in God like few other things can. God gave us the covenant to eliminate all doubt we have in Him. The enemy has worked hard to obscure the Biblical truths of covenant because he knows how dangerous it is to him when Christians become established in the Covenant.

Through this course, you will develop a firm grasp of covenants in the ancient world, the specifics of Biblical covenant and how powerful it was when God entered into Covenant relationship with us. We will study what the New Testament teaches about the covenant to understand the Biblical perspective of what it means to be in covenant with God.

I believe God gave us the covenant as ‘the doubt eliminator’. His intention was to destroy every doubt we have in Him and to come to the place of complete confidence and faith. Becoming established in the Covenant is essential for you to reach this place.

Even if you have heard about the covenant before, I encourage you to take this course. My aim is not just to ‘give you knowledge’. My aim is transformation by you becoming solidly grounded in this truth, so that you will never again be shaken in your faith and confidence toward God.

The lessons in part 2 dig much deeper into an understanding of ancient covenants, particularly the Biblical covenant. This includes an understanding of the power of blood and the significance of blood oath from a Biblical perspective. By viewing  the Biblical covenant through the eyes and mindset of someone in the ancient world, the student will develop a deeper appreciation for the significance of Covenant in the Bible.

The student will develop a much greater appreciation for why blood is so significant in the Bible and what Jesus has done for us by shedding His blood. Jesus said His blood was the blood of the New Covenant showing His blood is directly connected to covenant.
