How do I view lessons, including Live classes?

All of the course material, including the live teaching sessions and catchup classes, is accessed within this website. You need to be registered for a specific course to access the teaching material for that course. 

1) Login using your student login

2) Once you have logged in, click the link to ‘Courses’

3) You can also the link to ‘My Profile’ in the main menu and navigate down your profile to see ‘my courses’

4) Click on the course you want to access

5) Once the course page is opened, if you click ‘Start Course’ you will be taken to the first class or the next class (if you have already started).

6) Alternatively, you can click the ‘Curriculum’ tab and see all the available lessons

7) For Live teaching classes, when you come online on the specific teaching day, you will see a class called ‘Live Class – 18 July’ (or the date for that class).

8) Click that lesson and it will open the live class page. Here you will see a video of the teacher teaching live and an inbuilt chat feature which you can use to send questions etc while the class is progressing. The live class takes place directly on this website, within the curriculum area of your course.

9) Additionally, Within all lessons, there is a Question mark button – ?

10) If you click this, it opens up questions for that class. You can type a question (‘my question’ and see questions asked by other students. You will also see the typed answers from the teacher. Replies from the teacher in this area may not be instant.

How Can I Register for a Course?

Registering for a course is easy. Please follow the following steps:

First Register as a User on the website

You need to be registered on the website and logged before you can register for a course. To do so:

  1. Go to Sign Up
  2. Please fill in the registration form with your email, Username and password. This creates your user on the website, but does not yet register you for the courses.
  3. Once you are registered on the website for the first time, you won’t need to do this stage for future courses you register for. You simply need to log in.

Next, Login and Register for your Course

  1. Once you are registered on the website and logged in, go to the Courses Page
  2. Select the course you want to study, so it opens that courses’ page.
  3. Click ‘Get Course’ on the course page.
  4. You will be redirected to the shopping cart.
  5. The only option for payment right now is ‘offline payment’. Please select this.
  6. Complete the order.
  7. You will receive an email with instructions about how to pay for the course. This is either Bank transfer to a U.K. bank account or PayPal for people outside the U.K. You will then need to make the payment, using your name and BibleCourse as a payment reference.
  8. You will not show as registered for the course until an admin has confirmed payment has been received. Once payment is received, you will be able to access the course material.

How to Pay for the Course

  1. Course Registration is not complete until payment has been received
  2. When you complete your order for a course, you will receive an email with details for how to pay.
  3. Please, arrange payment by bank transfer (Within the U.K.) or by PayPal (outside the U.K.)
  4. Once payment has been received, admin will approve you on the course
  5. You can then access your course by either following the menu links to ‘my profile’ or ‘courses’.

These Bible courses are run online, but are not fully automated. They involve human interaction. This is intentional because we do not want your studies to be all self study without access to a human. Course administration is intentionally not fully automated and payment is confirmed by a human. As you study these courses, you will be able to have direct online contact with your course instructor as well, which is an benefit of these online courses.
